Major Differences between AgentOffice® and Top Producer®
1.  Desktop so you have a choice if you want to pay monthly hosting fees to run online.
2.  AgentOffice is standard windows ODBC compliant software - there is no encryption to prevent you from taking all your data with you if you decide to switch to any other real estate software program.
3.  Networking, Palm, Blackberry and Windows Mobile 5 interfaces all included in package price.  No additional fees or modules to purchase.
4.  Import capabilities from MLS are standard, no additional module to purchase such as Top Connector.

Installing Your Software
 
1.  Install your software.  I recommend that you choose "No" to Web-Register until after your computer has re-booted.  After you computer has re-started, choose "Webreg" and follow the Registration process.  Remember, the Name that you use in the Registration Process will appear on every Letter, Email, Postcard and Flyer that you prepare.  If you have a Team Name, you can Register as the team.  You cannot Register as a Company.  You can also Register in 2 names, e.g. John & Mary Smith or John Smith and Mary Jones.
 
2.  Using the instructions in the online manual, setup your software correctly: Change Agent and Company Information; Add any Assistants that will be using the System; Add Additional Lookup Fields; Add your list of Categories; Edit Picklists.
 
3.  Set up your Standard Page Setup for form letters.  Change all of the Form Letters to fit your letterhead using C:\OLS\LTRFMT32.EXE
 
4.  Personalize your Default Letter template.
 
5.  Import Contacts from other software.
 
6.  Make your first backup.
 
7.  Start entering Contacts in to the Contact Manager.  Sphere of Influence, Past Clients, Leads, Professional Contacts, Current Sellers, Current Buyers, Service Providers, Other Agents.  Don't forget to categorize!  By the way, this is a great time to phone and say Hi!
 
8.  Begin scheduling individual Activities.  Birthday reminders, etc.
 
9.  Learn to look up Groups of contacts.  Learn to print form letters, labels and reports.
 
10.  Start Adding your Listings.
 
11.  Start Adding your Transactions (Deals).
 
12.  Start designing Activity Plans: Sphere Follow Up; Past Client Follow Up; Leads Management; Listings; Closings; FSBO; etc.

To save everyone time and money, we recommend that PRIOR TO PURCHASE that you demo AgentOffice software  so you can test the software before you purchase.   

Further to pre-ordering demo, your software loads in DEMO MODE and you have the opportunity to test it before registering, once it is loaded on your computer.  REGISTERING VOIDS YOUR RETURN POLICY. 

All other AgentOffice products are non-refundable, including upgrades, add assistants and  technical support renewals.  The manufacturer has a strict no return policy in place.

YOU MUST HAVE AN RMA NUMBER, YOUR SOFTWARE MUST BE RETURNED SAFELY AND UNDAMAGED AND IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO GET IT BACK SAFELY.  IT CAN NOT HAVE BEEN REGISTERED.

 

 

 

 

Dave Beson LetterWriters

  1.  Your Dave Beson letterwriters now work with Top Producer 7i.  There is sometimes a short delay while TP staff "load" them to your service.  You purchase here as usual and from there everything is done for you.

 

 

 

Proquest Technologies 800# Hotline
1.  1000.  Extensions range between 000 and 999.  You can use them all.

2.  YES - Call 1-800-959-6550 and go to extension 5501 and 6001.

3.  Quantum  can be more expensive, since after sign-up you will be introduced to new and improved tools that increase cost.  The system uses a property tree.  When a prospect calls in they go through multiple phone prompts in order to leave a message.  The phone tree pre-qualifies the lead for the agent, instead of giving the agent the ability to determine if the lead is good, so control does shift from the agent to the phone tree.

Quantum Leap uses AMS as their phone provider.  Phone tree prospects are on the phone for a longer time dialing in prompts which can increase your monthly bill.  Quantum Users typical monthly bill averages between $150.00 - $170.00 dollars where Proquest 800# Users typically averages $70.00.  With Quantum, the agent is notified only when a Voice Mail is left.  The notification does not include name or address.  The price per minute charge is .24 cents

4. Yes, you are encouraged to do your own voice recordings.

5. Yes,  after you set up your extensions you can fax up to as many pages as you want.  Please remember, you are being billed 18.9 cents during this time.  You may not care that 10 pages may take a while but I think you need to know before you place a lot of pages into an extension that billing starts at the time of connect and ends at the time of disconnect.

 

 

 

 


Proforce Products

1.  Digital Flyers ($129) requires full version of Adobe Acrobat to edit and has more flyers.  Marketing Flyers ($99) works instead with Word, is probably easier for the average computer user to edit, but has less flyers.
2.  You require Adobe Acrobat 6 or better - then the answer is yes to both questions.
3.  Absolutely. If you have already installed Adobe Acrobat 5 or better, you will see menu choice to import and export forms. 
4.  The newsletter creator creates a document in Word or RTF format.  You may email them as an attachment. The only limitation is a recipient's capability of receiving an attachment.  Especially a "hotmail, aol" type of account where there is greater restrictions on receiving attachments.  Every template and pre-constructed newsletter should be completely customizable and editable.  Copy/paste functions and "save as" are important tools.  Make sure when saving to leave the original document blank.  to send via email, simply create your newsletter, save as, and right click on the newsletter, choose "send to" mail recipient.  If you use Outlook, it should open automatically. 
 

5. We have two versions of the Flyers, Digital (.pdf) and Word.  If flyers are purchased for use with word format, then word will edit them accordingly;
if they are bought for .pdf format, then Acrobat will change those items.  
If, for some reason there was a "lock" code on the program, we can send the master # in order to unlock all functions on the pdf version.
